“Drruuuuuuhh!!” I heard the sound of my alarm as I startled up

“Gosh!! It’s six thirty already” I mumured

I dashed into the bathroom in hurry I’ve to resume to work by 7am

Especially today that the CEO will be handing down his company to his grandson

I am a little sad because the old was a great company but he’s gat to retire I just hope his son isn’t gonna be a pain in my aßs

In ten minutes I was done and I was adjusting my hair as I combed it down which stopped few inches after my shoulders

I re balmed my lips and checked my light make up before taking my bag and dashing out

My name is Kimberly Darwin the first in the family of three it’s just me my dad and brother I am 23 and am three years older than my lil bro mom’s dead and it’s just us three managing the family business as I support with my work

It’s more of a restaurant and bakery
So ain’t that poor just average

I went downstairs and dad was up already setting the restaurant for business

Yeah Downstairs was a restaurant and up is where we live the building itself is complicated

I flagged down a cab as soon as I got out and in few minutes I was in front of the company

“You should be thankful the boss isn’t around yet” Claire my gist buddy said coming towards me

“But the press are around and they don’t know the venue for the event”

“I’d lead them there thanks for the information”

I dropped my bags down and went to get the press

I took them to the conference room where the documentation will be carried out and was surprised to see almost all the share holders already present

They only people delaying the commencement of the event now is my out going boss and the new one coming

I left the hall going to my office when I bumped into someone

“Damien!!” I called happily hugging him

“It’s so good to finally see you” I said staring at him

He was now good looking and more matured than he was five years ago and looks rich

“What were you expecting” my subconscious mind said

“Same here” he said

“You look good” I said

“You aren’t bad either” he replied

“What are you doing here” i asked but was cut short by my boss appearance

“What are you doing here we’ve got a event waiting” he said and I find myself bowing as I followed him towards the hall

I was surprised to see Damien following us too

Maybe he is here to watch the event too I thought

We got in and I sat down across the room and Damien was sitting a little bit far away from me

I just kept staring at him as my heart danced happily I didn’t realize how much I missed him until now

Everything that was been said was just passing through my ear cos I was lost in my own world staring at my Damien

Untill I was brought back alive by my boss’s word

“I’d be passing my company down to my grandson Damien Cruz and I felt the world stood still

“What!!?” I screamed internally

He’s gonna be my boss now

I looked up to see damien smirking at me with an expressionless face

I don’t know what to feel right now wheater to be happy or sad because the look on his face spells different things entirely
