Episode 62

????STELLA????
I scoffed and folded my hands together.

“So what?” I mumbled.
I can’t believe after all this months, the time has finally come to know if I’d be loosing Jeremy for real.

He’s definitely going to divorce me.
His grandfather was the only one stopping us from pulling apart but now he’s dead…meaning our marriage is on a shaky foundation.

Oh Jeremy…
Why did I fall so deeply in love with you that am so scared to loose you? When and how did this happen??

I heard his footsteps drawing towards me and I looked at him. He took my hands and pulled me up.

“What are you thinking about, huh?” He asked distractedly tucking my hair strands behind my ears.

“You’re going there now, right?” I asked pouting all of a sudden.
He nodded and sent his hands to my waist pulling me closer to his body.

“I need to be there with J.” He replied and i rolled my eyes.
“Um…aren’t you coming along?” He asked and i shook my head negatively.

“I’m sorry but I don’t think I’ll be comfortable there. And also…my hips hurt and am famished” I replied and he shrugged.

“Alright then…” He chimed in as he released his hands that had wrapped around my waist.

I gulped as I felt tears building up but I fought the urge to cry.

He took his multiple phones from the drawer and placed a short kiss on my cheek before taking his leave.

The minute the door closed shut, I slumped on the floor and buried my face in my palms sobbing quietly.

Aargh!
This is almost driving me to the point of madness!!!

Jeremy.
I can’t let you go. You’re a huge part of me now and I love you????????????

I felt shattered.

I saw the hurt in her eyes as I gave her that last stare before leaving the room.

I don’t know why I can’t be happy with the one I love…

It seems like everything is against us.

I love her.
So much…
And no matter what the DNA test result states, am not divorcing Stella.
Heaven knows that.

I followed the nurse sluggishly as she took me to Nina’s ward.
She went into labor few minutes ago.

The nurse stopped walking and I halted on my track.
Oh…We’ve arrived.

Jeffery was on a lounge chair looking into his phone.

“Jer…you’re earlier than I expected” He chided and I scoffed and sat beside him.

“I didn’t want to hurt her more by talking about it so I left. This whole thing is hurting me as well and am not sure Stella will stay if the baby turns out to be mine” I peeved and he sighed.

“It ends today J” He mumbled and inserted one of his hand into his pocket.
He brought out a bar of chocolate and unwrapped it.

“Want some?” He asked and I cringed.

“No thanks” I muttered and turned on one of my phones. The screensaver was a photo of Stella and her cute baby bump.
Aww.

I was so lost staring at her pretty smile in the photo.

How can I loose this woman??

God! No…

Nina’s screams emerged louder from the closed door and I smiled ruefully.
Thank goodness am a ‘man’.

“Jeffrey, I need to ask you a question” I said icily and he looked at me.
“Did you ever for once screw Nina while she was with you?” I asked and he flinched.

“What???
I might be a s”x freak but am not stupid. She’s the one that tried to make a move on me once but then…she suddenly withdrew” He replied but whispered the last part.

“she withdrew? As in…pushed you away??” I asked quizically and he nodded.

“Like I was not the person she wanted to make out with” He added austerely.

Hmm.

Am just curious on why she kissed me…

“It’s a girl!” The doctor announced and his colleagues cheered.
I kept panting and making effort to keep my eyes open.

I couldn’t tell the doctor to fake the DNA result so it’d turn out to be Jeremys cause I was in so much pain and pressure.

I tried to move my lips but my strength and muscles failed me.

“Doc…Doctor…I…”

I gave up cause it made me weaker. I had screamed out my vocal cords for sure!

The doctor moved away from the bed.
Dang it!
There goes my chance of completing my plans.

I kept trying but my voice were clearly gone.
I shut my eyes drifting to sleep.

????STELLA????
I was so tired and weak now.
Can you believe I was occupied packing my things..????????

I’ve been battling with my mind and finally decided to be prepared in case Jeremy returns home with Nina.

They’d move into the room without having to ask me out.

I was done with my clothes..

Hew!

The sweats on my forehead were tickling down so much.

I moved to the shoes collection and got my hands on the heels.
I was about to leave when I heard the sound of Jeremy’s car driving in.

Wait a minute…He’s home!

You know what that means…
Am about to learn the truth.
