I roll my eyes as I watch mom hover all over Kath. I’m just glad that the two of them are getting together pretty well. I had thought that maybe Kathryn wouldn’t be of good behavior and my parents night not approve of her. Not like we are getting married or something but I just need them to know that there’s something between us and I can’t be any more glad that she’s been polite.

I have never seen actually seen this side of her, she’s been so funny. She’s making mom laugh and she’s definitely lively. Is it because of the deal and what she gonna gain from it that she’s trying out her utmost best or is it that she just likes naturally been rude to me? I can’t find out which is which.

“I see that you have made a good choice son. Your fiancee is most absolutely beautiful and you can see that your mom likes her also. ”
Dad says and I smile before nodding, staring back at the women that are sitting on the couch, smiling and laughing at each other.

“So father. Does this means that you’re gonna give me the detaining share of the company now that you’ve seen who I’m getting married to. ”
I mutter and he laughs befure shaking his head.

“Oh no. Not that fast son. Not yet actually, I do want to see how you’re gonna be managing her. We are staying here for fourteen days actually do have some parents. If I get impressed with you then my company is yours and I will have no regret about it and maybe you both can get married before we leave. ”
He grins and my eyes widens immediately. What the hell is he talking about?

“Um no. I don’t think so. We both don’t want to rush this so we are just gonna take it steps by steps dad. ”
I smile at him, hoping be would buy it and thankfully, he nods before looking back at the two women who are now staring at us.

I watch her cheeks flushed as I stare at her and I’m surprised cause this would be the first time I would see her like that.
I wonder what she’s talking about with mom that’s making her act like that.

I have never seen this side of her and it’s actually quite surprising to see that she’s so free. So playful. So lovely and warm. Why isn’t she always acting like this when we are alone? Instead she goes all headstrong on me. She’s the most difficult and complicated woman I have ever met in my entire life.

My mind goes back to what father says once again and I couldn’t help the chuckle that slides through my throat.
To get married to her? I hope he’s just joking about that anyways and would let it go.

I don’t wanna find out what Kathryn would do if she finds out that dad is making such a suggestion.
