Everyone gasped as I kissed her, even her.

“I’ve never met her!” My mother exclaimed. “She’s beautiful!!” My mother put her hands on her cheeks.

“She is, mom” I said without looking away her Valentina. She looked scared. Nervous even.

Valentina smiled and said thank you. My father walked over to us and grabbed Valentina’s hand. “Come with me” he said before walking away with her.

“Joshua we missed you!” Someone called out.

“Who wouldn’t miss me?” I laughed.

I walked into the dining room and greeted my two younger brothers.

“Max” I said and hugged him. “How’s my nephew?”

“He’s good” he smiled.

“Mathew” i walked over to him and hugged him also. “How’s you’re girlfriend?”

“She’s doing good, I see you’ve been getting busy”

“I’ve been getting occupied, never busy” I laughed.”Well I should get going” Max said and headed toward the door. “I’ll be back tomorrow to meet your girlfriend”

“Me too” Mathew said.

They went over to my mom and kissed her and then left.

The rest of my family left shortly afterwards and Valentina came back with my father.

“Why don’t you two get some rest?” He said and wrapped his arm around my mom. “We’re tired” he winked and pulled her toward the stairs.

“Oh goodnight honey, goodnight sweetheart”

“Valentina” I said.
“Valentina!” She chuckled and went upstairs.

I shook my head and she stood there silent, smiling. “You okay?” I asked her. She nodded. “Come on” I grabbed her hand and led her upstairs to our room.

She kicks off her shoes and crawled in the bed. Covering herself in blankets. She looked small. Her eyes became glossy. “They’re beautiful” she spoke softly. “They’re wonderful, I’m glad you had a family like this growing up. Them shaping you into the man you’ve become… it’s amazing” she became quiet.

“Why are you saying this?” I walked closer to her.

“I’m just so proud of you, Joshua. I will always be so proud of you. You’re an amazing person, no matter how many time you try to deny it”

“V… I don’t understand why you’re saying this”

“Because… I think I’m falling in love with you, but I’m not sure because I’ve never been in love and I’m afraid of thinking that…” she stopped suddenly.

She seemed to be choking on her words. Don’t stop talking, I love when she talks.

“Never mind its stupid, I’m being stupid” she brings her hand to her face and wipes away a tear.

I stood there looking at her. What do I say? How do I tell her it’s okay? Should I tell her I love her too?

“You’re not being stupid, Valentina” I said suddenly. I said walking to her. “If only…” I trailed off. I want to tell her why I brought her here.

“What?” She asked and moved a bit closer. I bit my tongue to stop myself from saying it. “Don’t bite down” I said playfully. “Speak to me” she rubbed her nose on my cheek.

“Get away from me, Joshua” she frowned as she looked at me.

“I’m not trying to make you mad” I chuckled and pull her legs.

“Stop” she tried to crawl away.

I laid on top of her and kissed her roughly. I need her to know I want her without actually telling her. I can’t let her know these things, then she’ll think she’ll have real power over me. Which she does… but she can never know that.

“Joshua” she moaned as I kissed her neck.

“Say it again” I said biting down.

“Joshua” she said it again.
