Chapter 33

Elizabeth’s POV

Rose: my sister had ran away from my family for a very long time. She had left because dad kept forcing her to go to school but she said she never had passion for it.

She had always said her passion and her dream is to become a strï—pper. When the quarrel between my dad and Rose became tough, tougher than she could handle.

She ran away from home.

Dad reported to the police, she was searched for many months and was never found.

That was about three years ago.

Rose paused and stood shock on seeing me.

“Sister!” She called and hugged me.

I hugged her in return.

“Did you know each other?” Jack asked and I eyed him and walk a distance away from him with my sister.

We talked for many minutes about where she had been and stuffs.

“Elizabeth!” It was Mr Ashley Romeo’s voice. I would recognize his voice in my dream.

I stood from the beautiful stone that my sister and I had sat; discussing.

“Come around.” He said and stretched his right hand.

I turned my head to my sister and walked to Mr Ashley Romeo as I received his hand.

He held me by my palm and we begin to walk to ‘god knows where.

“See how you are holding me like I’m your wife.” I said in a whisper.

He paused and looked at my face.

He said; “I have warnd you not to be clumsy.”

“Ouch! you are too boring for my liking, I was only playing with you. ” I said and he never said a word.

As husband and wife, can’t I joke with him?

He doesn’t even understand a single sarcasm.

What kind of man is he even?

“Hey! hey! Mr Ashley Romeo!” I called repeatedly but he never answered.

I was angry, why wouldn’t he answer me?

I hated to be snubbed.
I snatched my hand away from his grib and stood, refusing to go anywhere with him.

“Are you going to be referring to me as Mr Ashley Rimeo before my Friends? how will they confirm that it was my wife that I had brought and not one of my worker?” He asked.

I reasoned with him.

“What could I have called you, seeing that you did not want me to call you by your name?” I asked.

“Baby! honey, sweetheart or any sweet names.” He said and I scoffed.

I laughed hard at him.

“Who is a baby?”
