Ama and I looked around the palace like two lost puppies.

She came with us to bade me a good bye at least. I thought she will not allow me to stay in the palace but I guess I was wrong.

She seems more happier than I am for some odd reasons .

My bag was already taken to one of the rooms upstairs by a maid and I am now left alone with Ama.

We sat comfortably on those long cushions receiving fresh air from where I don’t know while some maids serve us juice.

Wow! I am already feeling like a princess.

We all came back together and they already left to the room.

Everything still seems like a dream to me.
I can’t believe I am now living in the palace not as a maid but a freaking princess.

Isn’t God so amazing?

” I am so happy you will be staying here Alyssa, I can’t contain my excitement” Ama said and I furrowed my eyebrows.

Seriously?

” Are you trying to say that you were praying for me to leave your house Ama?”

I frowned and she gasped. .

” Of course not Alyssa, I am happy you won’t be out there fighting like a boy again ”
I chuckled narrowing my eyes at her!

” I am not in imprisoned Ama, I can go out anytime I wish to ” I rolled my eyes

” I know right? But you won’t fight again and please for my sake, do not do anything that will displease the king and queen ”

” I won’t Ama, I will be a good girl ” I whined

” Okay Alyssa, I need to leave now. The shop is still opened ”

” I will miss you Ama ” I pouted giving her a hug feigning tears while she hits my back grinning.

” I know you too well so stop the pretence”

She said and we both laughed

” Here is your room hope you like it ?”
I stared at princess Scarlett blinking my eyes

Is she kidding me?
Looking around with a jaw dropped, I glanced back at her.

This room alone is bigger than our house. The two rooms, kitchens and tiny sitting room everything!

A Queen’s size bed was placed at the other side of the room. Then a bed stand beside .

A dressing mirror was perfectly placed few feet away from the bathroom door with different types of creams, sprays and make up kits.

And by the left is a very big closet ! When I mean big! It very big.

” Like? Even love is an understatement my princess, no word can describe how beautiful this room is , no phrase my princess ”

I replied while she giggled.

” Feel free to call me Scarlett and stop adding princess to it, we should be of the same age and you are now a princess too”

She smiled sincerely at me while I nodded.

” Thank you my prin..I mean Scarlett ”

” You are welcome, now you need to go in there and freshen up. Everything you need is in here including dresses , when you are done, two maids will be assigned to you to be dressing you up ”

” After which you will come downstairs and I will give you a tour before brunch is ready ”

She said leaving the room. At least they like me, that will make my stay here somewhat better.

I opened the bathroom door and….
Holy Alyssa Ama’s precious daughter!

Is this a bathroom or a house? It seems bigger than the room itself.

I plumped into the bathtub immediately and on the shower.

Forget we are not that rich! At least we have water in our house but not a shower.

I smiled victoriously as I set it to a warm water.

Hmm! It feels so good! Everything is new like they were expecting me before.

Gosh! I can’t wait to go out there and taunt Lucas and Co!

They will have no option than to bow for me!

After all. I am a princess, the King declared that.

???? King Nathan’s POV ????

I took my medications after checking on Joel and decided to take a nap.

The pain has reduced, it doesn’t hurt much like when I was shot.

I owe Alyssa forever! Both Ryan and I could have died if she never showed up and it still baffles me how a young lady like her will have so much courage

How she was able to get pass those hefty men is still a mistery to me.

Where on Earth did she learn tricks from and she was looking just like a female officer.

She risked her life for us, how can one be that selfless?

I need to reward her real big and I have hired some private investigators to fish out who was after my life and that of my son.

I was about climbing the bed when my eyes caught something.

A note? I frowned staring at it.
How did it get in here on my bed?

I curiously took the envelope tearing it open and truly it was a note.

* Hello King Nathan *

*I am happy this note got to you like I wanted. I know you are happy that you didn’t die today, that’s because I assigned some idiots to kill you and they couldn’t because of a mere lady*

* Well don’t be too happy because my return is for you and your family, you escaped the first time, that doesn’t mean I not still going to get you killed his royal majesty ! *

* I am back and you should know , I didn’t just come back to Cebu City just to be watching you live *

* I just thought it’s better I inform you of my return so how about paying you a visit in the palace? I am sure that’s going to be great, we will get to meet again *

* Be expecting a visitor soon King Nathan and you should know the I don’t visit and go back just like that *

* Maybe seeing one of your beautiful daughters kiss the grave will do right? I know it will King Nathan, do have a nice day *

My blood froze as the note fell from my hand.

Only one person can threaten me this way!

I turned to the direction of the garden searching for Scarlett.

I am very certain she’s with my phone, that sister of mine wouldn’t let it rest and I want to go out already.

” Scar…” I practically paused as my eyes landed on someone.

I closed and reopened my eyes to be sure I am not mistaking!

OhMigod! Alyssa?

She looks so damn gorgeous .
The maids had really transformed her.

Our eyes met and she looked down shyly but I couldn’t stop staring at the beauty in front of me.

Her long hair was loosed on her back while some covering her face.

She wore no single makeup but still looks sweet like a meal!

Wearing a short fitted gown exposing her straight and spotless legs.

The gown revealed her curves ! She’s got the shape of a model.

Albeit she’s the most beautiful and curvy lady I have ever met.

I groaned boring holes into her! I don’t want to think of the fact that those guards has been staring at her.

” She’s just a friend Prince Ryan but the stare says other wise ”

Scarlet’s voice jolted me out and I flushed in embarrassment!
