Brenda’s POV
“I do not like poor people, you should know that by now.” He said looking inside my eye.
“Is there a butterfly in my eye?” I asked and he quickly looked away.
He must have known that I caught him looking into my eyes.
I blushed and held his hand in a bit to drag him to the room.
“Hey! Leave me….” He requested.
“Why?” I asked still holding him by his wrist.
“I don’t want your poor hand on my hand.” He said and I smiled instead.
I dragged him to my room.
“Feel comfortable and sleep.” I said.
I was so happy that he’s around, I feel secured and more comfortable.
“Do you know what they say about two adult sleeping together in the same room?” He asked.
“I don’t, maybe you should teach me.” I said and rested my chin on my palm like a student ready to learn.
“That something might happen.” He said.
“Something? Like what?” I asked.
He looked away shyly and came to sit on my bed.
“Turns out you finally sit on a poor bed, why would you hide under my bed?” I asked and spank him playfully on his shoulder.
“Sleep on the floor, I’m sleeping on the bed.” He said.
“Huh? In my house, seems to are dreaming.”
“Dreaming, you say? You are too rude that you did not even know how to take care of a guest in your house.”
“You are not a guest, what kind of guest hide under my bed.” I said and he stood.
He carried me in a bridal style and placed me on yhe floor gently.
He wanted to stand but I held unto his collar.
“Where did you think you are going?” I asked still laying on the floor.
“Let my collar lose, poor girl.” He said but I pulled him more closer to me.
His lips almost touch mine, just a little distance.
He arched his brow in shock when he realized that we would have kissed.
He removed my hand gently from his collar and stood stiff while I l-ay stiff.
“You are crazy, you know that?” He asked me.
“No.” I replied still thinking of how we almost kissed.
He jumped on my bed and spread his legs and hand on the bed so that I will have no space to sleep.
