Chapter 66
Brenda’s POV
-Following Morning-.
I started getting dressed for work, Scot and I had not spoken to each other since yesterday night.
Well, we have not even seen this morning, I could have gone to his room to disturb him but I didn’t feel like.
I had cooked and served myself, I was already dressed, just to eat and leave for work.
I do not know if that Chef will be at work today, even if he is, I hope to see him as one legged man.
“Good morning.” Scot said as he walked towards me
I was at the dinning, sitting and ready to eat.
“Hum.” That was my reply.
The spoon was heavy in my hand cause of his presence, I was conscious of every breath I was breathing and my swallows of saliva.
I do not know what effect he was having on me but If I was really falling in love with him, then I should be careful.
It hurts when people fall in love with people that never loved them
“The food looks delicious.” He said.
“Um.” I replied and struggled to take a spoon full of the meal.
I carried it to my throat and as I ate it, some fell from my mouth.
I felt embarassed, again, I was not suppose to feel embarrassed at all before him.
“Why do you look moody this morning?” He asked.
I shook my head only in response.
“But I allowed you to kiss me, so what is the moody act for?” He asked and I went to look at his face.
“Does that mean you like me?” I asked, softly and pathetically.
“I’ll need to get a speaker and a microphone to announce it to your ear drum that I don’t like poor people, is that too hard to understand? Don’t fall in love with me and don’t wallow in self pity. ” He said.
“So it’s Bella that you love? Because she’s rich, right?” I asked.
“I stopped loving Bella….eat Brenda.” He said and I began to eat.
He came behind me and pecked me to my surprise.
“Huh!” I paused my food and looked at him.
He winked at me and walked away.
I smiled.
He’s really crazy.
His actions and his words weree opposite.
I was done eating, I took steps out and I remembered that I should have informed Scot that he would transport me to work.
He would not want to let me go alone today cause of what happened the previous time.
I turned back in an attempt to inform him but I already saw him behind me.
