She pushed Amar out of the way roughly and he missed his steps and fell to the ground.

“Oops, I thought you were a huge balloon.” Ashwini said and dashed out and didn’t look back to see a pissed off Amar.

Searching around quickly, she saw Rohan who was about to enter his car. She ran to meet him and held his hands preventing him from opening his car door.

“Why are you leaving without me?” Ashwini demanded.

“You accepted his proposal so what else do you expect me to do? Stay there and clap for you?” Rohan responded.

“I was carried away, Rohan, that ring was familiar to me and I got carried away. It’s you I love, I didn’t mean to hurt you.” Ashwini said releasing her hold on him and showed him her empty fingers. “Look, I slapped him and threw his ring back to him in front of everyone. I am sorry if what I did offended you, so please don’t leave me behind.”

“It’s alright, sometimes I easily forget you had memory loss and you are living a different life, but it’s okay, I understand and I am no more angry.” Rohan said finally smiling and Ashwini hugged him tightly.

“Thank you hotshot.”

“Get in the car beautiful, I want to take you somewhere.” He told Ashwini.

“Where?”

“Just get in beautiful, I will take you there so that you will see it yourself.”

They both entered the car and Rohan drove off.

Amar came out of the dark shadows and stared at the moving car.

His plan didn’t work as he had planned.

He was greatly pissed and he disappeared.

Stopping his car, he and Ashwini came down from it.

“Where are we?” Ashwini asked, staring at the forest they were standing close to.

“You will see.” Rohan answered and made sure his car was locked, then grabbed hold of Ashwini hand they entered the forest, walking side by side.

Ashwini looked around them allowing Rohan to lead her, she just felt this place looked familiar to her, it felt as if she had been here before.

They walked for close to four minutes before Rohan stopped.

“This was where it all began.” Rohan said and Ashwini stared at him in confusion.

“Where what began?”

Removing his hand gloves, “The night I got this, the night I thought you had died. This penthouse carries the whole memories.” Rohan replied pointing at what was left of the penthouse and Ashwini stared at the burned fallen building in front of her.

Rohan stared at the penthouse in front of them as he remembered what actually took place here.

Ashwini moved forward slowly.

“This was the place you broke off your engagement with prince Khan and where lady Meera—”

Interrupting him softly.

“Poisoned me.”

“Yes and where you tried to save me fro-” Rohan paused in his statement. “How did you know you were poisoned?”

Turning around to face him, she closed the distances between them and really looked into Rohan’s eyes.

“That’s because I remembered everything, every single thing Rohan.”

Bewilderment with surprise. “You do?”

“Yes everything. They killed me, I had died, but somehow Aunty Mehek brought me back to life.”

“She told me that. I can’t believe it worked.” Rohan said with a smile embedded on his lips.

“What worked?”

“Bringing you here, to this place where it all begins.” Rohan said. “I am so happy you’ve recovered your memories my Queen.” He added going down on his knees to bow before her.

“Don’t you dare bow before me Rohan.” Ashwini’s voice stopped him. “Never bow before me.”

Straightening himself to his full height, he hugged her and tilted her head so that he could lean forward to kiss her.

“I am so happy that you have regained your memories.” Rohan said once he broke the kiss and noticed Ashwini’s smiling face, her eyes opened, staring at him with love.

“Yes.” She whispers.

“Now, getting our revenge will be so simple, they will die by my sword.”

“Rohan, the heavy doors of the dungeon open with destinies, not with swords.”

“Meaning?”

“In the past, my ancestors would catch a rebel but they wouldn’t kill him. They will gouge his eyes out, do you know why?” She asked and didn’t wait for his reply before she continued. “If he was killed, as long as that King is alive, the rebel would be remembered. They would erect statues in his honor and others would rise up in his stead. But if you gouge his eyes out, the rebel would be reduced to begging for food. Seeing him so, everyone would shiver in the fear of the King and no rebel would stand in his way.” Ashwini finished and turned to face the penthouse. “We are going to give them their own taste of medicine Rohan, it’s their destiny. We are going to make them kill themselves. We will work from the inside. But first, I will have to ask Aunty Mehek how she had brought me back to life.”

“You need to ask her, because when I asked her how she was able to bring you back to life she mentioned magic, and you and I know auntie Mehek doesn’t have magic.”

“Yes, that is what I am going to find out.”

“But how are we going to make all the king’s kill themselves?” Rohan asked.

Facing him, she smirked dangerously.

“By getting married to Khan.”

Will Rohan accept?
