I sigh as I grab the phone from the bed and groan loudly when I stare at the caller ID before picking it up and glueing the phone to my ear.

“Mom. ”
I utter, nodding at the maid who brings the wine to me and I grab it from her before silently dismissing her.

“Your father is almost done here son so we should be there probably by tomorrow Afternnon. I’m so excited and I’m a hurry to find out the last that has finally stole your heart. ”
She beams on the phone and I slightly roll my eyes.
Oh mother. Please.

The only reason that she’s here is because mom wouldn’t stop pestering me about bringing a wife home and dad also, he wants me to get married before having the other share of his company because he believes that a responsible man should be able to take care of anything that comes his way. How old fashioned.

“Alright mother. I would be looking forward to seeing you and father once again. ”
I utter on the phone as I bring the glass to my lips, slighting taking a sip before bringing it back down.

“Okay son. We will soon be there. ”
She says again and I hum before she hangs up.
I sigh and toss the phone on the bed before staring across the city light, standing by the window with the glass still in my hand.

I do hope that when they come together, Kathryn would do exactly like she’s expected to. I do still dislike her but I know she’s the one perfect for this job.
That been she hates me just as much as I hate her so even if we are to live together with my parents excepting us to be all lovey dovey over each other, there would absolutely be no problem with our emotions and I wouldn’t have to worry about how she would feel.

Just this fourteen days and she would be gone.
I had thought about firing her when I had found out what she has been doing but she’s actually quite useful for me.

The door clicks open and I know it’s definitely not one of the maids cause there was no knock.

I sip the wine once again before turning back to see Kathryn walk in, all dressed up with her hair packed and her bag across her shoulder.

I hope that this isn’t what I think it is.

“Um. I’m more and have all sorted I have but I want to go out for a little while. I will be back here before the night falls, I just need to see my roommate once more to inform her about what’s happening with me. ”
Just like I had thought.

When I didn’t say anything, she turns back and start walking out of the room.

“Stop. You’re going absolutely no where. ”
I raise my voice and she turns to me, her brows raised in such a way I make she’s questioning me.
