The Next Morning ????????

I woke up feeling so tired and weak, I hope Xavier will not kill me with sex one day.

I saunter to the bathroom for my bath, after having it I walk back to the room and I met Xavier busy on his computer.

He shot me a stare and took his eyes back to the laptop.

After eating, I retired to the living room watching TV.

Soon he came downstairs dressed up, I think he is going out.

“we are catching the first flight tomorrow morning ” I said in a final tone and she bowed before walking out of the office.

My PA just break the news that my companies in Korea were having little problems and I must be there first thing tomorrow morning before it gets out of hand.

I sighed and call mom on the phone to break the news to her.

“Hello mom” I said tiredly.

“Mom can you believe that My companies in Korea were having problems and I have to be there tomorrow morning ” I almost scream and she shouted.

“Maybe Leila should come stay with us when you travelled so that she won’t be bored ” she suggests and I dallied for a while.

“I think that’s a good idea ” I said.

“Yeah” she ended with a chuckle.

“okay thanks mom” I said and hung up.

I am done with the cooking, it’s evening already and Xavier is yet to be back.

I set the table and he came in at the nick of time .

“Welcome ” I greeted and he only nodded.

“Your food is ready” I said and he scoffed.

“Can you cook” he asked and I laughed.

“Why not? ” I chuckled .

“Okay I am going to freshen up first before eating ” He said and I nodded.

Soon, he came back and we ate together before ,I pack the plates and wash it before joining him in the room.

I met him packing clothes inside a traveling bag.

Is he travelling???????

“Is there a problem? “I ask and he look at me.

“I am traveling Leila ” He drop the bombshell and I scoffed.

“You are joking right ” I asked trying not to freak out.

“I am not joking ” he said forlornly and walk to me.

I woke up the next morning early to get ready for the trip.

I put on a shirt after bathing and Leila turned on the bed.

I can’t believe she refused me last night.

“Really ” she beamed and I nodded,the next thing she did shock the hell out of me.

“I will miss you” she pouted and I chuckled.

“Me too ” I smiled.

“Mom driver will come pick you up soon” I said and she raised her eyebrows in confusion.

“For what”she asked.

“You will be staying with her till I am back ” I said and she nodded.

We walk together to my car and I entered, she continue to wave at me till the car is out of sight.

I hope she will be fine.

The driver help me drag my bag in the booth, I enter the car and he ignite the car driving out of the compound.

After a long drive, we got there and he park the car.

I step down and Xavier mom came to hug me, she is waiting for me already I think.

“welcome darling ” she cooed and I hug her back.

“Let’s go in”

She said and I followed her in.
