I screamed happily in my mind.
It worked!!!!
I turned to her maintaining a straight face.
“Are you sure I can’t force… ” I said softly.
“I am sure okay” she snapped and I smiled.
“okay I will call you later ” I said and walk out of the room.
I hope I will be able to convince Xavier to marry her.

☘️Kira’s Pov☘️

I huffed angrily and bang my fist on the table.
How did she find me?
I thought she is gone for good?
How will I tell Leila that she is getting married soon.
Oh! God help me.
…….
I walk into my room tiredly .
I pulled my shoes away from my legs and put off my clothes so as to shower.
I walk to the bathroom to have my bath.
After bathing,i wore my nightie and sent for her.
Soon she walk in looking so cute in her pink bear cardigan.
“Evening mom” she greeted and I nodded.
I signal to sit beside me and she complied.
“I sent for you for an important issue ”
I said and she furrowed her brows.
She must be surprised, I have never sit to talk to her like this.
“I bid for a contract with the Chupa’s Family and I won It” I paused and looked at her expression and they held nothing.
She is still confused.
“But there is a little problem”
“What is it” she asked.
“They said I must give out my daughter to Marry their son, Xavier ”

I scoffed as I stared at her, my eyes bulging.
Marry????
What kind of joke is that?
“You are joking mom” I asked unbelievably and she sighed.
“I am serious Leila” she said softly.
“Why will you ask me to marry a whole Xavier who does not know maybe I am living” I asked not still believing the whole thing.
“Do I look like I have time to exchange words with you” she rasped annoyingly and I almost scream at her.
“What are you saying, you are selling me off because of the progress of your company, did you hate that much” I scoffed with tears dripping down my face.
“okay I think I the one wasting my time to talk to you, you are marring Xavier either you like it or not” she said and I burst into tears.
Does she hate me this much? ????
“I hate you mom and I will never forgive you for what you have done” I said in ln between tears and rush out of the room.
I ran to my room crying in hurt, she hates me so much.
How could she want me to marry the guy who almost force himself on me?
Is she that heartless?
What if we get married and there is no love between us?
How do I cope with a flirt?
Won’t he forced himself on me with my enticing and stupid shape?????????
I cried and cried myself to sleep.

The next morning……

I woke up and drag myself to the bathroom to have my bath.
After that I look for something nice to wear .
After rummaging through the wardrobe, I settled down for a Blue Jeans and a red top with a fitting sandals.
I walk family downstairs and I met mom eating.

I did not care if she was there, she look up and smile.

I rolled my eyes at her pretense. ????
I walk pass the dinning towards the door.
She called me back.
“Aren’t you eating” She asked caringly and I rolled my eyes.

Like she care!!

“I am not eating” I said coldly and opened the door.
I met Tristan waiting as usual.
We greeted and he drive me to school.
