☘️Leila’s Pov☘️
I woke up and find myself in a cold floor, it was so cold that I am shivering to the teeth.
I gnash my teeth in pains and coldness as I tried to remember what happened.
I can’t believe Nina could be this cruel to me.
I thought she is my friend, my best friend at that, I whimpered in pains as this brought tears to my eyes.
I can’t believe my first best friend, whom I thought she love me could do this to me.
Coke to think of it, what have I done?
Whom have I offended?
Why is my life this complicated?
I fell into a trouble to another one.

The door open slowly and I sit properly covering my body.
I couldn’t recognize the person or I should say I couldn’t see hmthe person face but all I know is that he is a guy.
A well built one at that.
He dropped to a crouch in front of me and I shivered in fear.
“Hi” He said sweetly in his cool voice.
“What have I done” I asked.
He laugh wickedly.
“Oh that, what have you done, that’s a very nice question you asked” He said smiling and touch the tip of my hair.
I tried to wriggle myself from the grip on my hair but I end up receiving a slap.
He stared at me darkly and I burst into tears immediately.
“You know I don’t want to hurt you and your baby ” He said and I gasp.
Oh God!
How did he know I am pregnant?
“How did you know I am pregnant ” I asked and he laughed.
“You are very funny, I always find my ways” He said.
“What did you want from me” I asked..
“What I want ” He said and stare at me.
“I want you”
☘️Xavier Pov☘️
“What did you mean that she has been kidnapped ” I screamed.
“The tyres were shot sir and I tried saving her but I was shot also” The driver said with his arm bandaged neatly already.
I grab his wounded hand and he scream in pain but they cops were quick to hold me else I will kill him with my bare hands.
“I swear to God, if anything happens to Leila, I will kill you with my bare hands” I threatened and he shivered in fear.
☘️Max Pov☘️
I knocked the gate loudly hoping someone will hear me.
I pray they grant me entrance.
A man dressed like a security march towards the gate and I compose myself.
“Good evening sir” I greeted politely and he stared at me in disgust.
“What did you want ” He asked grumpily.
“Please is is sir Xavier around ” I asked and he laughed mockingly.
“Did you think my boss is that easy to see” He said distastefully.
“Please it’s about her kidnapped wife just grant me entrance ” I said and clasp my hands together begging him.
He opened the gate and check my body and when he realized that I am not having any ammunitions on my body, He led me in.
He pushed the door open and I met Xavier drinking with empty bottles on the floor.
He is drunk already.
“Good evening sir” I greeted and he stare at me like I am a piece of trash.
“I am Leila friend in school and I have an idea about the person who kidnapped her” I said and his eyes dimmed.

Five years ago.
“I told you that this business is very lucurative” Xavier said trying to persuade Dan is best friend but he isn’t ready to listen.
“I can’t risk it Xavier ” Dan said shooking his head and Xavier groaned.
He is very hard to convince.
“Okay I will donate the 90% percent of the money” He said.
Although he could afford the money, He wants Xavier to gain from the business because he knew then deal could change their lives forever but Dan isn’t ready to concur.
“Okay fine ” Dan said defeatedly and Xavier beamed.
A month later, the business was executed and according to their plans, Xavier who donated 90% of the money will take 90% of the profit also while Dan will take the 10% remaining.
The profit got much and Dan got greedy, he want Xavier to divide the money into equal parts and this made Dan so infuriated and he called off the friendship.
Both if them part ways.
