☘️Miya’s Pov☘️
She slapped me on my face and I gasp in shock.
“You slapped me”i said surprisingly.
“Yeah I will slap you more if you are not careful” she said boldly.
“You told her about what led to the marriage and now she is saying she didn’t want me as her mother ” she cried and I bit my lips from crying also.
“Did you have to tell her” she yelled.
“I am sorry” I begged in tears.
“You know what I don’t care again, report me to the cops and they should come arrest me because I don’t know what I will gain again, you made me lose my daughter and who will inherit me after I died” she said bitterly and I felt for her.
Mime is even better, I know Xavier will come around sooner or later but what about Leila?
If she decides to forgive her mother, Xavier might not allow Leila to forgive her.
“Get out of my house” she said pointing at the door and I look at her.
“I am sorry ” I begged but hardly is not ready to listen to me.
“Just get out and I will be expecting the cops today or maybe tomorrow morning ” she said in tears.
“Okay I won’t arrest you anymore “I raised up my hands in surrender and she laughed dryly.
“Will that bring my daughter back” she said.
“Just forgive me” I said pleadingly.
“Miya get out before I lose my patience ” she growled and I picked up my bag and hurried out.
☘️Leila’s Pov☘️
Next day in the school cafeteria……….
Max the new student joined I and Nina on the table and we start eating in silence until Nina broke it.
“So Max how did you feel about the assignment Mr Donald gave to us”Nina said coolly.
“What did you mean “He asked a little bit harsh but Nina didn’t allow that to get into her.
“I mean how…… ” She tried to say something but Max cuts her off.
“Must you know about what I feel about it” He said harshly and Nina was taken aback.
“I was only….”
“Why can’t you ask from Leila how she feel about it why must it be me” He said rudely and Nina got a little bit angry.
“I was only trying to be friendly okay you don’t have to make me feel bad” She said annoyed and she pick up her plate angrily leaving us alone on the table and went for another seat.
I sighed and look at Max who continue eating not feeling a little bit concerned.
“Why are you this cold to her” I said and he scoffed.
“I just don’t like her” He said simply and continue eating.
“Why didn’t you like her?”
“I don’t know the reason I just don’t like her” He said.
I sighed and focused on my food.
“Then you have to apologize to her because she didn’t mean anything bad in all what she said, she is only trying to be friendly ” I said trying to convince him.
“I can’t apologize okay”
“But why? ” I asked.
“I don’t feel guilty at all in all what I said, I only put her to her place ” He said nonchalantly.
“Please just try to apologize ” I said placing my hands together.
He laugh at my reaction.
“Okay I will do that” He said defeated.
“Thanks ” I said and he smiled.

“Common Nina he is sorry” I begged as she eat her food without sparing us a glance.
“What are you begging me for ” She asked.
“He didn’t mean to be rude he is in a bad mood ” I said trying to convince her.
“I am sorry ” Max apologize.
“It’s fine ” she smiled.
“Thanks” He said smiling a little bit and Nina smiled back.

Why do I feel like there is something off with this Nina??
She looked so suspicious to me and her actions were always suspicious.
Her smiles were always fake and deceiving and I didn’t know why Leila isn’t noticing that.
I couldn’t call her attention to it because I didn’t want to ruin their relationship.
I will find out myself.
