“Come on …..I don’t want Mr Blake to get angry at us” I screamed for the third time as Tia chatted with God knows who on her phone.

“Hold on Morena,I just wanna chat with…….”her statement was cut short as I seized her phone from her hands.

“Hey why did you do that?” She asked, trying to take her phone away from my grasp.

“Because if you’re late you’ll be termed as an irresponsible candidate for the election” I spat as she sighed and began to follow me.

“Yeah but we’re here” Tia replied as she flashed Tia a dubious glance. “Hey I wasn’t talking to you” she said, making Tia and I to roll our eyes as we chuckled.

“Hmm…..we have three candidates for the presidential seat” Mr Blake said as the students cheered and began to scream.

“Blair fortress, Blair fortress” Tia and I stood close to each other as Blair walked up the stage.

“The next candidate is Almirah Dave” he called as some people cheered.

“The next is Morena Dela Cruz” he said as people cheered while Blair’s face lost it’s glow.

What!!! She’s contesting for it? Oh my goodness this can’t be.

I know Miguel will do everything in his powers to make sure she wins. I walked down the stage with several thoughts running through my mind.

How did they meet? And who’s she? Lisa and penny were waiting at the locker room when I got there.

“Hey girlie you seem lost” Lisa said as penny nodded.

“Yeah, you seem lost, weren’t you nominated?” Lisa asked, wiping the sweat off my brows with her hankie.

“I was nominated and that bitch, Morena she was also nominated,I hate her” I screamed as the other girls in the restroom stared at me.

“What are you staring at?” I asked, looking at them as they scurried away.

“Another thing we need to know is how she met Miguel,I thought Miguel was dating the model Yolanda fortress” I said as they shrugged.

“Yeah that’s what I heard” penny replied as Morena and Tiana walked in.

“Gosh…..I heard someone hit the jackpot by bewitching a handsome billionaire” Lisa said as we chuckled.

“Yeah…… and she’s just a pauper…….I wonder the socerer who gave her the power” penny joined as I chuckled.

I stared at the documents in my hands then at the bowl of grease. Mr Miguel needs this for his upcoming trip.

I must make sure their relationship tarnishes before he leaves. He must despise her with all his heart and above all,I have another agenda.

I know she’ll stupidly fall for it. Jerry likes Morena so the set up won’t be hard.

It’ll be a night before he travels that’ll be the best so his hatred for her will multiply.

Yola Really thinks she can buy me? Never!!! Once Morena is out of this house,am gonna eliminate her life and anyother person who dares come in my way.

I dipped the paper into the grease then arranged it into her cabinet. Poor Mr Miguel will be heartbroken.

But am not stupid you know,I kept extra copies of the documents,it’s just that they’re hidden.

I walked out of her bedroom, locking the door as I smirked.

I was already expecting her arrival downstairs. I knew she’ll be extremely beautiful in that dress.

I actually got it online and ordered it. True to my imagination,she came down looking beautiful as she flashed me a sweet smile.

I just love her so much she doesn’t have to stress herself to look beautiful,she already is.

“I can hardly take my eyes off you” I whispered, pulling her into my embrace as we walked to the car.

“Jerry take me to……. Lawson” I said as he nodded and drove out and off course I noticed the way he stared at Morena.

Like she was…. something special to him. I shrugged the thought off as Morena rested her head on my chest.

My eyes widened as we got to the huge mansion. Wait but I thought we were going out,so why are we here?

As if reading my mind, he pulled me in with him. “Welcome to my home,I grew up here” he said as I gasped.

“Gosh it looks like a castle,is there a ranch here?” I asked as he chuckled.

“Yeah…… I’ll teach you to ride at home,for now, we’re all alone,I just wanted to spend time alone with my woman” he stated before jerking me up into his arms as I giggled.

All of a sudden,the atmosphere became tensed as he carried me up to a beautiful bedroom.

“It’s my bedroom,we left this house five years ago but I still visit here to recall a few of my memories that are threatening to leave me” he said as I laughed hard.

“Morena tell me about yourself” he said as my heart began to pound hard.

“Well am an only child,my mom died at child birth and when I was ten my dad took in another wife. She loved me at first but when the doctor confirmed her third miscarriage,she began to hate me” I said as tears welled up in my eyes.

I don’t wanna cry but I can’t help it. “dad got a job as a construction worker when I turned fourteen so he had to leave for Dubai and Immediately she stopped my education,she started maltreating me, sometimes she locks me outside and sometimes she starves me.

“On one faithful night,she sent me out of the house and I wandered into someone’s land,his guards bundled me up and took me to him but I think he got fed up and freed me, the next day I ran into your sister at a restaurant” I said as my dad’s death hit me really hard.

“But I later found out from my step mom that dad’s dead” I finished my story as I saw tears in Miguel’s eyes.

“Do you know I was the guy whose property you were in?” He asked as I nodded negatively.

“No…..but did you know?” I asked as he declined. “It’s funny right,but it’s all in the past now, let’s start anew” Miguel said, leaning in to kiss my lips as he pulled me close
