My eyes widened when I heard Jenny reading the book

She was reading it as if it was a normal language

That means that anyone among those three people must be someone close to me or maybe someone that has done one or two things with me

I wouldn’t want to waste time because I knew that the days are already counting

I stood up and went over to her seat

She raised up her head to look at me

“Hi” I said waving my hand a little
She ignored me and continued with what she was reading

I smiled and sat beside her

“Are you actually keeping malice?” I asked to get her attention

“How am I keeping malice?” She returned the question

“It is not like we fight” she added

“So why is it that you ignored my greeting?” I asked

“It is my choice” she replied
I had to maintain with smile

“So you can read that book?” I asked

“Yes but it is strange seeing it here” she replied

“It is actually mine” I said
She turned immediately to face me
I continued smiling

“You intentionally kept it here, just to come here” she said nodding her head
I wanted to reply her but she has already pushed the book to my body

“You can take it and stand up” she added

“Wait……” I meant to say

“Stand” she cuts me short with that

I exhaled and stood up

Embarrassment was what I never liked before
So I respected myself and went back to where Jason was sitting
Along with the book

Just as I sat down, I looked at Jenny and she was also looking at me
She hissed and returned her face

“How did it go?” Jason asked looking at Jenny’s direction and then back to me
I adjusted myself

“She is the one” I replied looking at him
I could see how surprised he was

“Unbelievable, it is too bad putting her in this game”

“I don’t think this destiny is right” Jason added

“Never can tell, maybe this might change her mind” I responded

“Not Jenny, I have known her for so long, she won’t”

“Even after accepting me, I still noticed that she doesn’t like me, I knew that we would break up like we did, so I planned to do something that wouldn’t make me to look like a loser” Jason explained

“What could that be?” I asked
It wasn’t as if I was interested in that but I just had to ask,
Let it not be as if I wasn’t caring

“Don’t worry, it is a secret” he replied

“No problem, I noticed that a junior student came to inform her that a teacher was looking for her” I indirectly asked because I knew that it must be his handwork

“Was it?” I asked looking at him

“As if we didn’t discuss about planning on” he said

“I thought you would just come and take her outside” I responded

“I remembered that we are no longer in that term, so I had to change the plan” he replied

“So how are we going to do about this?” I asked

“We have to plan on that” he replied

So irritating

How Dorothy managed to get that strange book kept me thinking

Another strange thing was that I could read it

It was my first time seeing such handwriting and language but I was able to read it

Isn’t it strange?

I waved it off and began to bring out my books

Maybe I should try reading something, to make my day
Since it was already boring

After dismissal, Jason was the first person to leave the class

It was unlike him

He normally stayed in the class till everyone leaves

I waved it off and parked my bag
That moment, Dorothy also walked out of the class with other students

I wondered what Jason and Dorothy was up to

After some minutes, I was done and was good to go

I walked gently out of the class

I was walking closer to JAVS special room
I stopped remembering how it was

David has really done lots of damages in our school

No one can tell how many people he has taken their lives

I sighed and continued walking

As I got to their door, someone from inside pushed it open and dragged me in

I managed to hold myself from falling down
While the person closes the door
It was Dorothy
Jason was also sitting there

“Do you want to wound me or what?” I asked really angry about that

“Unbelievable, Jenny of all people” Jason said while I turned to face him

“Incredible, Jason of all people” I responded while he smiled
But I wasn’t in the mood to smile

“I don’t know what you guys are up to but don’t try this again, Dorothy” I warned looking at Dorothy with a very serious face

“You need to let go of some things in order to get some, right” she said

“See preacher” I laughed

“Can you tell me the meaning of this you just did?” I asked getting back to serious

“The book you saw, earlier today” she paused

“Yes, what?”

“It is the only book that will free David” she replied

“And so?”

“What does that have to do with me?” I asked
Someone opened the door

We all looked at that direction

“You guys should go out, the school is about to be locked” the teacher said

“Better” I said and walked out immediately

I don’t need any other talk

My driver was already waiting for me, making it easier for me

I entered and he drove off

…. Sonia POV ❣️

Victor was no longer Victor of before

Before, he doesn’t call but he started calling me recently

It was one of my best time on earth

He called me earlier that day and told me that he would like to go on a date with me

I didn’t hesitate to accept it

Out of joy, I couldn’t eat

Excess joy was all I could feel around me

It was getting to 2pm
Which was the time we fixed it

I brought out my favorite cloth that was given to me by my father during my birthday

He said that it was a lucky cloth

I do remember my father, anytime I see that cloth

I went inside my bathroom and took my bath

Just as I was cleaning my body after bathing, my phone began to ring

I rushed to it with joy
It was as I hoped

Victor

“Hope you are getting prepared” that was the first thing he asked

I smiled

“Almost” I replied

“Am almost close to your house” he said while I gasped

“How come?” I asked

“That will be when I come, take care” he said and hung up

“Amazing Victor” I said smiling as I dropped my phone and began to dress up

Not too long after dressing up, my phone rang again

“Am at the gate now” that was what I heard immediately I picked up

I took my small bag and rushed out to meet him

I got to the gate and the gateman opened it

“I will be back” I said walking out of the gate
Surprisedly, it was Victor standing at the gate

He smiled when he saw me

I walked closer to him and he opened the door for me

I smiled and got inside
He closed the door and walked over to the driver side

He entered and drove off

“You really surprised me, how did you get to know where I live because am sure that you haven’t been here before?” I asked on our way

“I haven’t surprised you yet” he said smiling

“More surprises to come” he added
I couldn’t help it but to smile

We got to the most beautiful and popular ShopRite in Switzerland

“Wait a minute” he said, immediately he parked the car

He got down, closing the door from behind
He rushed over to the passengers side and opened the door

“Let’s start from here” he said illustrating ‘please this way’ with his right hand

I smiled and got down
I didn’t know that it was the reason why he asked me to wait

“So you asked me to wait, just for you to open the door for me?” I asked smiling

“Don’t even start, let’s go in my beautiful queen” he said while I smiled

He took my hand while we walked in
Hand to hand

We got to the females clothing section

“I guess, this is your favorite color” he said picking out a pink gown for me
He was right
I smiled and wanted to collect it from him

“I won’t let you go through any stress of carrying this” he said drawing his hand backward, with the gown
He made me to smile again

“I guess, this shoe will fit you” he said taking out a shoe
It actually matched with the cloth

He has the best choice

“Very right my king” I responded while he smiled

“Let’s go and check yours” I suggested After when we were done selecting my dresses, shoes and two handbags

“Am the one that is taking you out today, so I want only yours”

“Anytime you want to buy for me, then you will be the one to fix the date” he said
I just smiled

“I must” I said

“Am not running” he replied

We had lots of fun that day

I didn’t know that Victor would be that great

“I have something to tell you” he said on our way back home

“What could that be”

“As in go on” I responded
He wants to say it when his phone interrupted everything

“My Mom” he said picking up the phone
I nodded before he picked the call

“Okay Mom, I will be there now” that was the last thing he said and he hung up

“My Mom is back” he said as he dropped his phone

“I would love to meet her” I responded

“Not today, you already know that your Mom must be waiting for you” he said
It was true anyway

… Dorothy POV ❣️

That evening, I sat in my room thinking on how I would do convince Jenny

She was worse than I would imagine

My mind also ran to the other remaining person

Who he or she could be

I began to think, starting from the day I came to that school

I wasn’t getting it

My mind ran to the very day the demon entered David, during that time he was with Jenny

Just as I dragged Jenny out, I heard someone saying something to David
As in he sounds like he was back to normal

I peeped to check who that person was, and I saw Victor there

I also remember the day I first saw Jason

As in my first time seeing him in the school
He attacked David that day

I could vividly remember that the demon entered David that day but left

I remembered that Victor was the one who touched him, before the demon disappeared

“Victor” I said slowly
As I stood up immediately

“Shit, Victor is out of the country” I said scratching my head

I remembered that he was a close friend to Jason before he left

Maybe he would have a little clue about it

I need to ask him

…. Jason POV ❣️

The following day, it was Saturday

I couldn’t think straight anymore but I already knew that I would visit David’s mother

As usual we talked about the same thing, which was about David

After spending some time with her, I drove straight to Dorothy’s house

I hoped she would be at home

Problem of not having phone

I would have contacted her

Just as I got to their house, I got down and knocked

She walked out from the house to know who was at the gate

“I was even planning on how to reach you” she said opening the gate

“Hope nothing bad happens?” I asked by then, she was done with opening it

I walked inside

“No, not really” she replied

“How about your Uncle?” I asked
I didn’t know I was that caring o

“Still the same” she replied

She has already told me that he refused going to hospital
Saying that he won’t die and hospital wouldn’t do anything about his condition

We walked inside his room and I greeted him

He responded good
We stayed for a while before I decided to leave

“Have you ever thought of the next person?” Dorothy asked as she was seeing me off

“We are yet to convince Jenny, so I didn’t have time to think about that” I replied and that was true

“I think the next person now is Victor” she said while I turned to look at her

“What could make you think of that?” I asked not believing it

“Remember that day you attacked David, on the first time you saw him” she said

“Yes, I remember” I responded

“Did you suspected while David wanted to run out of the class before Victor held him back?” She asked

How will I know

“No” I replied

“The demon possessed him that day and he wouldn’t like to kill anyone, so he wanted to run away but Victor knew that if he should let him go, he wouldn’t reach the door before he turned to the monster, that’s why he held him, making the demon to leave him” she explained

From what really happened that day, it sounds true

“But how then will you reach him?” I asked

“Forget about that fight, but I think you know where he would be” she said

“Unfortunately, I didn’t get to know” I replied but my mind ran straight to that time he left

“Oh, Bonny said that he overheard Jenny and David’s conversation”

” He said that David visited him before he leaves” I added

“I will have to ask him” she said

“How?” I asked surprisedly

“Don’t worry, just try to convince Jenny for me and I will go for Victor” she replied

Convincing Jenny would only need tricks but meeting David would be dangerous

“Don’t worry, I know how to meet David” she said
