Although it wasn’t his fault because no one would proudly say that he or she is a bastard

After getting the stuff with Dennis still disturbing me

I had to act cool until when I was through

“I will drop you off” he had said
I know him very well as someone who normally take cab while coming to school but how he managed to own a car was what I couldn’t tell

“Can’t you just let me be?” I asked, feeling frustrated

“I must” he insisted
I stopped several cabs but he always interrupt

I still had to maintain my cool self

“Fine, I want to get some drinks” I agreed

He smiled

“A minute” he said raising up his middle finger

He rushed to where he parked his car and drove to me

He stopped and rushed out
He walked to the passengers side and opened the door

“Please” he said using his hand to demonstrate that I should get in

“I have just one request” Dennis has said
I didn’t want to hear it because I wasn’t interested

“I don’t want to hear it now because I have some piece of advice for you” I said
He looked surprised

I already suspected that his intention wasn’t genius

“Forcing someone is the greatest mistake you can make when it comes to love”

“True love come from the heart, you can force someone but the person will eventually get you down” I added
Only him knew what he was thinking because nothing came out of his mouth

We got to a bar and I asked him to stop for a while

I got down and rushed inside

I sighted Anthony and Alex sitting at the end of the bar but close to the waiters table

I walked in and gave them my order

It was just non-alcoholic drinks

“But how that bastard be a problem to us?” Alex asked
I wondered what they were talking about

His voice wasn’t down tho

“Am surprised that even Mira is also for him” he added
My mind ran to Jack

“I have always noticed that Mira always support what Ajax supports, and she is in love with him” Anthony said
He was always the smartest and sensitive person in that their gang

“Ajax started by saving him in his first arrival”

“Only him know where he come from, no father and no mother, that is more than a bastard” Alex said
That was when it clear that they were referring to Jack because I remembered how Ajax walked out with him in that day

“Am sorry that I had to hide something like that from you but I was short of words when I heard that from my parents” Jack said

He was already getting weak

“Am not really mad at you, just that I felt somehow, maybe I wasn’t important” I responded

“Don’t say that, you are important” he said

I felt special

“Enough of that emotional conversation, am getting soft” Ajax interrupted while we laughed

I dropped the bag of spices I got from the market

I took their drinks out

“You guys have to take this as you wait for the dinner” I said giving them the drinks

The plan was just moving smoothly

You supposed know what I was up to

Stella and Henry met me some days ago with a great request

The offer was too tempting to avoid

I was from a poor family that I hardly eat sometimes

The cab that I normally come with, was my Uncle

So, he always brought me to school for free because I was living with him

Stella was the one who brought the car that I would be used for the mission

After dropping Mira at the school dormitory, I drove straight to Henry’s apartment since that was where him and Stella was waiting for me

Staying at Stella’s room would be risky because Jack and Ajax might notice it
Because Jack was living around

I got to the apartment and drove in after when the gate was opened by Henry

He was actually living alone in the small compound

I parked and got down,
I walked to where Stella was waiting

She was serious with the game
It was already late

“Day one achieved” I said smiling

“You got her?” Stella asked
I nodded with a smile and sat

There was three seats there and a table

A bottle of wine was placed on it

“She was beginning to trust me” I said

“Did you get her number?” Henry asked

“No, I wasn’t able to do that but very soon, I will surely have it” I replied

“That’s already delaying” Stella said

“That means you know her apartment now?” She asked

“No, I was planning on that when I met a scene” I replied

“A scene?”

“How do you mean?” Stella asked

“A gangs, they beats Jack” I replied

“That’s when I saw Mira since I lost her before the dismissal” I added

“Wait” Stella said
I nodded and focused on her

“Are you trying to tell me that A gangs beats Jack up?” She asked

“Yes, of course” I replied

“You need to see it” I added

Stella was already burning in anger……

I sat down in my parlor with some drinks

I couldn’t stop thinking about everything that has been happening around me

Ajax word was making sense

I was brought to life by the hard knock I heard on my door

I wondered who would be doing that

The knock came again
I had to go to the door

There was no need to be scared because I had lots of neighbors that could see anything when it happens

I couldn’t believe that Stella was there

She doesn’t look happy
It was her second time of coming to my apartment

“Stella” I called but she didn’t respond

“Come in” I said
Still, she didn’t make any move

“How dare you guys?” She asked with anger
I was still confused about her actions

“What is going on?” I asked

“Why did you guys beat Jack?” She asked
I didn’t know that she would be that angry because of what we did to Jack

I lost my voice

I couldn’t believe that I was weak before a girl just because of love

“He actually crossed the line” I said
I had nothing to give as an excuse

“I thought you would change” she said

“I only want you to deal with Mira not Jack” she added

“Okay, am sorry but I can’t do anything to Mira , she is like my sister” I said

“Actually, am no longer interested in that”

“Really?”

“But don’t try that on Jack again” she said and meant to walk out

“Are you just going?” I asked
Maybe I would stop her
She stopped and looked back

“What should I have done?” She asked
I felt like kissing her
My mind was already occupied with lots

Her love was totally in me

I walked out and hugged her

“What!” She shouted and pushed me backwards

The next thing was a slap on my cheeks

I gasped and held my cheeks as I watched her walked out……

We got to the hospital where Dad was taken to

The nurse asked us to wait for a while because the doctor was attending to him but my Mom refused to sit

The accident according to her, wasn’t ordinary

I just hope he survived

As we sat down and waited patiently for the doctor
I couldn’t think straight

“Maybe I shouldn’t have come” Mark said

“Stop making things worst by saying that, it is not your fault” I responded

“Sorry but I felt it” he said
I had to wave it off because my brain wasn’t regulating properly for me to add that to it

After some minutes, the doctor walked out and we rushed to meet him

“Please doctor, how is he?” I asked immediately

I didn’t want to hesitate

“No improvement yet” he replied

“What?”

“Don’t worry that much because he has a little chance to live” he responded

“What do you need for this treatment, let it not be the problem?” Mark asked

“That’s not the issue now” the doctor said

“If we need anything, we will definitely contact you guys” he added

“Can we see him now?” My Mom asked

“Wait for a while” the doctor replied and walked out

We had to return to our position

The doctor later walked out and headed to the ward where they kept my Dad

After some minutes, he asked us to come in

We had to run because everyone was scared

Our last born couldn’t stop crying because she knows how much Dad cared for us

He was the best

I would prefer him to Mom

We got to the ward where my Dad was

He was lying flat on the bed with bandage on his face, foot and shoulder

With life machine attached

“His brain was injured” the doctor said

“I am sure that he must have been going through a lot of thought” he added

Who wouldn’t think?

When he has been trying his best to protect Jack in the family……

That night, Ajax has already left to his house

He said that he has something important to get from his home

It wasn’t that far from the school

Exactly at 8pm, I wore my big cloth and walked out of my room

My first trial had started

My intention was to get that egg or break it if the snake tries me

I got to the teachers library and took the book like supposed

The door opened and I walked in

All those dead bodies were still there

I got to the second one where my body, Ajax, Axel and Stella was

I just needed to act fast, so that I could free all of us

I walked closer to where the big snake was

It was always like he was

I stretched out my hand to take the egg but the snake woke up immediately

I couldn’t believe that the snake groans and used its tail to push me but I tried very hard to hit the egg with my leg before the tail touches me

Pushing me to one side of the building

That was so painful that I groans but my mind was at the egg I pushed

But I saw it on the air

The ghost boy appeared immediately

“That’s a mistake” he said

“Just follow the steps” he added…….

I didn’t actually went home because of something that important

Just that I wanted to get my kits for sleep which I forgot while returning

I arrived late in the night and took a cab to our house

My Dad was watching some program when I walked into the living room

He was actually backing the door

He turned and was surprised to see me

“Ajax” he called
My eyes spotted something on his face

I walked closer to him to see it clearly

“Dad, what happened?” I asked
It was exactly like how Jack’s face was, after receiving the beating from the A gangs

“I don’t really know, I just woke up after siesta and met my face like this” he replied

That was strange

The following day, I had to rush to Meet the family doctor because I was suspecting something about Jack and Dad

How could it be that way

“Can I see the paper you used to do the DNA ???? test?” I requested

“Unless next time because it is not in this office but in my house” he replied
Seeing how things was , he wouldn’t leave what he was doing just for that

“I will come back next time” I said and excused myself from the office

I went home to meet my father

He told me that he wouldn’t go to work that day because of his eyes

I needed to do something because I would be going back to school that morning

In order to convince Axel about this, I needed to get Dad’s picture with that on his face

I got prepared for school and get downstairs to meet Dad again

“I think I will show this to the doctor in our school, I believe this is not just common” I said walking to him

“If you say so” he shrugged and I took the picture

I was going to the school cafeteria for some snacks

I just wanted to have a little lunch at school with Jack

Just as I was walking to the school cafeteria, I came across Dennis
He came out from nowhere, blocking my move
I felt frustrated again

I just don’t feel good to stay with him

“Are you still avoiding me?” He asked with a little smile on his face

“Can’t you get the point?” I asked back

“Am in love with you” he said while I smiled
Overnight

I could remember that we had crossed paths before but there was nothing like that

He must be up to something

“Am already in relationship” I said

“It okay, we can still be friends since we aren’t destined to date now” he said
That was a request as well

“Can I pass first?” I asked because he was really blocking the way

“Sure” he said shifting to one side while I walked ahead

He still followed me to school cafeteria and make the payment for my snacks

He left me when we were almost in the hall

“Jack is really bored” I said remembering that Ajax travelled

I walked to his position and threw one snacks at him

He caught it with a smile

I walked closer
I wanted to ask him when Ajax would be coming back

“Your friend get it for you?” He asked
I looked at the window and saw that he was seeing us…….

After school lecture, we visited Andrew at the hospital because it was supposed

The doctor said that he would be discharged very soon

After some time there, we went back home

We were still complete

I sighted Ajax bike at the parking spot

“He wasn’t at school, what is he doing here?” Anthony asked because he also saw it

“I will find out” I replied

“But you guys have to go for now because he won’t stand you guys” I added

They understand

I got closer to my door but I couldn’t find Ajax around there

“Looking for me?” That was Ajax voice from my behind
I turned to face him

“Why would you hide?”

“My choice” he said
I opened my door and walked in

He followed me and sat down on a couch in my parlor

“Why are you here?” I asked, getting him a drink from the fridge

“I shouldn’t visit my brother again?” He asked back while I smiled

“You don’t come here like before, by the way why weren’t you at school?” I asked

“My brother is now caring” he said smiling
That was crazy

“Anyway, that’s why am here” he said operating something on his phone

“How do you mean?” I asked

“See Dad” he said stretching out his phone for me

“What happened to him?” I asked with so much worry

“Did you see Jack’s face after what you guys did to him?” He asked

“That’s not what I asked” I said

“That’s where I want to get your answer” he said
I could remember that Jack’s face was swollen

“Yes” I replied

“Good”

“Check that level of his swollen face and check this picture” he said
The truth was that they were familiar

“It is the same” I replied

He explained to me what Dad told him
That he saw that after siesta
And the attack was in the afternoon

“I think there is a bond between both of them” Ajax said

“Why would you think of that?”

“Can you remember that when Jack was attacked by that beast that kills, Dad fell sick throughout that time” he said
That was true tho…….

After surfing the web for a while, someone decided to disturb me with a knock on my door

It was no other person than Ajax

I was surprised to see him back already

I wondered if he really travelled

“This your face doesn’t want to clear” he teased while I laughed

“It was just yesterday” I said

We walked to the bed after closing the door

“How is Dad?” I asked

“He is good” he replied

“He said that I should tell you that he will like to meet your foster father” he added

“Really?”

“Wow, Jane will be happy” I said

Just then, my phone began to ring

It was Jane

“Jane is already calling” I said before picking up

“Jane Jane” I cheered with joy

“Jack” she called
Her voice wasn’t as usual

I wondered what could be the problem

“What happened?” I asked

“Dad is dead” she replied

That response stroke my head with thunder
