Chapter 43
Oscar’s POV
I walked side by side with Jessie as we walked out of the hospital. I kept seeing many strange things.
What she said about us being lovers and not making love does not make sense to me. Is that even possible?
She’s probably playing with my intelligence, I loathed the fact that I forgot everything about my past.
I do not even recollect whom I use to be.
The both of us walked inside a car and she drove us to a house.
As soon as we alighted, I asked; “Is this your house?”
“Yes.” She answered.
She must really be rich, the house is so beautiful and big.
“Our house actually, come inside.” She said and I followed her inside.
I sat while staring at everything in the house strangely, I do not know what is what.
My phone rang, my phone was still in my pocket.
I looked at the phone and only saw ‘Boss’ as the caller
“I do not know who this is.” I muttered to myself.
Jessie walked to me and check.
“Oh, it’s the boss. Press the green button.” She said and I nodded.
I pressed the green button has she had said and a man’s voice came
“How are you Oscar?” The man asked cheerfully.
Jessie has placed the phone on loud speaker.
“Answer him.” She whispered to me when she saw that I was hesitating to respond.
“Fine.” I answered the man.
“Have you made love with your wife?” He asked.
His question sounds so strange to me and only looked at Jessie who seemsd confused too.
She ran inside and brought a book and a pen.
“Ask him that what is he talking about?” Jessie wrote on the book.
I read it and said to the man; “What are you talking about?”
“Ha! do you know who is on phone with you? Your wife is pregnant and obviously deflowered, so what is stopping you guys from making love?”
“Doesn’t matter if she is pregnant or not, as far as I’m concerned, she’s still flowered, our decisions not to make love in our marriage remains the same.” Jessie wrote in the book and I read it out loud to the man that was on phone with me.
“Really? Oscar, is this you talking?” The man asked suspiciously.
“Sure…and, I won’t be able to come to work for a while, bear with me…sir.” Jessie wrote and I read it out loud to the man.
“Something is wrong!” The man said and hung up
